my friend sent me money today 25/1/2012 around 6.00 pm from icici bank to my syndicate bank. he showed me transction proof. still i not get it..plz help

NEFT transactions are typically credited the same day. However the time taken will depend on the receiving bank. Suggest you check later in the day.

whats time of fund transfer of money in icicibank to Sbi bank, I was transfer money 31/12/2011 09:00 am saturday.And after half an hour i was checked my SBi account, but money was not transferred .

Currently, there is No fund transfer fees (NEFT Charges) if you use ICICI netbanking , but ICICI charges a fee if you go to branch to transfer funds.

Banks usually do not allow NEFT transfer during certain specific hrs because those timings are dedicated for batch jobs to run.banks need to update their databases for all the online transactions done during day time.this is done as batch jobs.during this process,usually the online part will be down.

Unfortunately I have no idea. If I remember right ICICI makes a statement on their web site that the time taken is not under their control as RBI’s systems are involved in the actual transfer. In my experience however it does not take much more than a day. I routinely transfer money to an SBI account in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, from my ICICI account at Hyderabad, AP, and I have never had a delay of more than a day.
