The NSE India (National Stock Exchange) web site has been down for more than 24 hours now. I first noticed it yesterday afternoon when my automated BHAV copy download failed. That had never happened before and I had stopped checking the log files. I was surprised when my portfolio tracking software was still showing stock prices from March 25, 2009 instead of March 26. Investigation revealed that the BHAV copy download had failed. I have been trying since then without any luck.
Unable to even reach the NSE-India.com server!
No trouble pinging Google.com!
Later today I will post details of how to download the Daily BHAV copy from the NSE.
