I am now an Associate Member of the Steel & Mines Employees Complex Welfare Association. This body looks after the Steel & Mines Complex where I stay. I don’t own a flat in the complex but have lived there since July 1998. As a tenant I cannot hold any other office in the association’s Executive Committee for which elections were held in late December 2009.
Anyway, I attended my first meeting of the executive committee on Saturday, Jan 2, 2010, and was made responsible for cultural and social activities along with Mr. S. M. Krishna. I was also asked to put together a web site for the complex.
The new web site for the Steel & Mines Complex is currently hosted on my domain (satpathy.org) and we might move it to it’s own domain, funds permitting.
