Left early from our home in Juhu and drove to India Gate. From [...] We went to Goa Bhavan for dinner today. Goa Bhavan is a guest house for the Govt. of Goa and has a small dining hall where the cook serves rather delicious meals at reasonable rates. The place is not fancy but who cares! The food was good. We had 3 Fish Meals – a plate [...] The Trapped Crow Today I noticed a very large number of crows squaking in a tree in the building opposite our 3rd floor flat in Juhu. For some time I tuned out the noise and kept up a conversation with Padmaja over our morning tea. After a few minutes the thought slowly sunk [...] I am in an autorickshaw heading to the International Airport to catch an Emirates Airlines flight to Dubai. On the Western Express Highway I noticed a mercedes bearing the Emirates logo beside my auto. I peeked in and saw a Lady and a Gentleman in uniform – presumably our pilots. I thought no more about [...] Today we shift to JVPD in Juhu. The flat there is on the third floor of a small apartment complex next to Ecole Mondiale Mandel School. It is a SAIL flat allotted to my wife, Padmaja, after she joined the Mumbai Regional office. So our last day at West End, Raheja Vihar, Chandiveli, Powai – [...] |
